  24. Growth sparked by NEXTSTEP for Intel and associated developments has created
  25. the following contract position(s).

  27. (2) Contract Software Engineers:
  28.  
  29. oBSCS, equivalent or better; o3 to 5 years of software development/engineering
  30. experience; oSolid knowledge of object-oriented principles; oWorking knowledge
  31. of Objective-C and C++ ; oStrong knowledge of data structures techniques (list
  32. and tree processing); oSound programming principles and work ethic; oKnowledge
  33. of NEXTSTEP Appkit a plus; oGood knowledge of Smalltalk a great benefit; and
  34. oExposure to Windows and Windows-NT helpful.

  36. These position(s) are available immediately and involve technical software
  37. development in ObjC for NEXTSTEP, but not much in the way of NEXTSTEP IB at
  38. this point.  Lots of knowledge of Interface Builder, the Developer Environment
  39. or Mahoney's book is nice, but not enough. We need solid data structures
  40. knowledge for solid implementation of new objects.  Exposure to Windows and
  41. Windows NT would help with compatibility work downstream, but is not important
  42. now.

  44. These positions are compensated at industry competitve rates, commensurate
  45. with skills and experience.  The positions may work into permanent staff
